2006: Kelsey Sugg started all 43 games for the Yellow Jackets behind the plate…Sugg led the team in a number of offensive categories, including average (.343), hits (46), RBIs (34), home runs (6), and total bases (74)…She put up 12 multi-hit games on the year including a three-hit, two-homer, six-RBI game in a 10-2 win against Centre College on March 10…She currently holds a .988 fielding percentage, the best in school history…In addition, Sugg earned All-HCAC and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete accolades at the end of the season.
2005: Sugg started 37 of the 40 games that she played in as catcher...Named the 2005 HCAC Freshman of the Year, Sugg was second on the team in batting average, hitting .361 for the year...She was second in RBIs with 29, tied for second in doubles with 10, and fourth in hits with 44...She was also one of seven Jackets to hit a long ball.
High School: A graduate of Wauseon High School, Sugg was named Second Team All-League, a Golden Glove award recipient, a Batting Champ, and was a Scholar Athlete...Sugg was also a member of the National Honor Society at Wauseon.
Personal: She is the daughter of Gene and Robin Sugg and has two brothers, Isaac and Josh.
