Davis earns HCAC Player of the Week for Softball

GREENWOOD, Ind. -- In her first two games as a Yellow Jacket, Aarika Davis has already been recognized for her play, as she was named HCAC Player of the Week as a Softball Hitter.

Davis had two home runs, including one in her first collegiate at-bat. She also picked up four RBIs, three runs scored, and a stolen base. Davis went 3-for-7 in the doubleheader against Centre College for a .429 average, while finishing with a .500 on-base percentage.

Defiance went 0-2 in its first two games, but looks to bounce back in the Rebel Spring Games in Orlando this week.
