Nicely named HCAC Athlete of the Week

DEFIANCE, Ohio-- Defiance College’s Eric Nicely (Ayersville, Ohio/Ayersville) took second in the pole vault event at the All-Ohio Championship Meet in Columbus, Ohio on April 15 and has been named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Men’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week.

The senior cleared the 15-foot mark at the event and earned eight points for his team. Defiance placed 16 th in the 21-team field.
