Good results for DC Track at ONU

ADA, Ohio—The Defiance College Track & Field squads competed well at the Ohio Northern Friday Night Meet in Ada, Ohio.

Trevor Matuszak won the weight throw at 48’ 2 ¾”. Alan Thompson had a good night, finishing third in the triple jump at 39’ 3 ¾”. Matt Fleig ran a lifetime best in the 60-meter dash at 7.13, good for third place. Eric Nicely pole-vaulted 14’ 5 ½”, finishing third.

Kristyn Tooley finished third in the triple jump at 31’ 3 ¼”, while Julie Kern placed fourth in the pole vault at 7’ 6”.

The Jacket athletes will travel to ONU again on Friday, February 24.
