ADA, Ohio—The Defiance College indoor track and field squads ran at the All-Ohio Meet on the campus of Ohio Northern University on Saturday afternoon.

Eric Nicely, coming off of an ankle injury, finished third in the pole vault, clearing 14' 6". Matt Fosnaugh placed eighth in the same event with a height of 13' 6 1/4". Eric Swartz finished sixth in the high jump with a mark of 6'1 1/4".

Trevor Matuszak set another school record in the weight throw with a distance of 50' 2", good enough for second place in the event. This distance breaks the mark that he set the night before, when he finished first in ONU's Friday Night Series with a throw of 47' 2 1/2".

The Jacket runners next travel to the Ohio Northern Friday Night Series on February 18th.
