Defiance College Track and Field hosts Throw, Jump and Run

DEFIANCE, Ohio-- The Defiance College Track & Field Youth Athletic Outreach program treated Tinora Elementary students to a series of athletic events on the athletic field of Tinora High School on Wednesday afternoon.

As part of Defiance College's culture of cummunity engagement, track and field athletes, Audric Warren, Julie Kern, Matt Fleig, Kristyn Tooley, Steve Langley, and Jennifer Creighton instructed students on athletic form and later officiated races, jumps and weighted ball throwing competitions.

The DC Track & Field Youth Athletic Outreach's Throw, Jump and Run program is in its second year of promoting healthy lifestyles to Defiance-area youth.
