Friday Night Series Meet #3 Women's Results
ADA, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s track & field program was in action this weekend at the Friday Night Series Meet held at Ohio Northern University. DC finished seventh in the meet, while tallying 28 points on the night.
Courtney Lantz’s time of 1:26.94 in the 500m earned her a fourth-place finish, while Kelly Neff placed fifth in the 1000m run with a time of 3:33.66. Kristin Goldstein was fifth in the 55m finals with a time of 7.96 seconds.
The Jackets also had several good performances in the field events as Alex Thiel finished fourth in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 31-08.00, while Emily Cole cleared 8-06.00 in the pole vault to give her the second-best performance on DC’s all-time list. Laura Derov’s toss of 36-08.50 was good for sixth place in the women’s shot put.
