MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Defiance hit the road on Tuesday night to take on the Bethel Pilots and suffered a 30-17, 30-15, 31-29 defeat. The contest was DC’s final road match of the regular season.

Danyel Lipps notched her 15th double-double performance of the season by totaling 11 kills and 10 digs and was joined in double figures in the kills column by Lauren Aldridge who added 11 of her own.

Ashton Judis played well on defense once again, providing a spark with 18 digs, while Aldridge and Julie Brunsman each had a pair of blocks.

The Jackets (7-21, 3-5 HCAC) will round out their regular season on Thursday night inside the Weaner Community Center. DC will host Indiana Tech at 7:00 pm and will have a brief ceremony for Parents’ Night prior to the start of the match.
