DC 17-6 with 3-0 win over AU

--Defiance, Ohio-- The Defiance College Volleyball squad earned their third conference win of the year with a 3-0 win over Anderson University at the Karl H. Weaner Center.

Nikki Retcher led the way in the 30-17, 30-26, 30-28 win with 14 kills, four blocks and nine digs. Julie Steineman was a force in the middle with 11 kills and 12 digs. Jill Evans had eight kills, 25 assists and nine digs, while Diane Bruns and Corrie Farley added 16 assists and 10 digs, respectively. Mandy Owens played very well, scoring on several key kills, totaling seven, and led the way with six blocks.

The Lady Jackets are now 17-6 on the year with a 3-1 mark in the Heartland Conference. DC will host Transylvania on Saturday at noon at the Weaner Center.
