Tournament Information
1. The tournament will be an eight-team round robin tournament, with each team playing four matches.
2. All matches are best of five, using rally scoring to 25, with the fifth set to 15 points, win by two points.
3. Line judges and scorekeepers are provided.
4. All teams will be given the alotted nine minute NCAA warmup, unless both teams or one team gives up that time, where by the match will start as close to the scheduled time as possible. **No games will start earlier than the scheduled time Friday, but a rolling schedule will be in place on Saturday.
5. Home team is the first team on the schedule.
6. There will be an extra court available for shared ball control warm up.
7. Results will be determined by the best record of the four matches played in the tournament. We will be using NCAA tournament tie breaking rules.
8. Championship and runner-up plaques will be presented immediately following the conclusion of the final match. As well as the all-tournament team.
9. Champion is the winner of the 1 vs 1 match on Saturday.
10. Repooling and your finish in the tournament will be determined by: matches won, sets won, point differential, coin flip. |
