Yellow Jackets Begin 2005 Season With a Win

ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Yellow Jackets won their first match of the season with a 3-2 victory over Waynesburg College in the first round of the Mt. Union Tournament. Defiance won by the scores 28-30, 30-25, 30-21, 33-35, 15-12. Julie Steineman led the Jackets in kills and blocks with 15 and 19, respectively.
