Lady Jackets swept by Polar Bears

--Ada, Ohio—The DC Volleyball squad had a rough outing at Ohio Northern on Tuesday, losing 0-3 to the Polar Bears.

The Lady Jackets fell 16-30 in both of the first two games. DC fought back in the third game before losing 26-30.

Nikki Retcher led DC in kills with nine and was second in digs with 18. Julie Steineman led in digs with 19 while Diane Bruns and Jill Evans had 20 and 16 assists apiece. Retcher and Steineman each had two block assists while Mandy Owens had two solo blocks.

The Lady Jackets are now 7-3 on the year and have nine days off before traveling to the Wittenberg Tournament on Friday, September 24th.
