DC Volleyball drops match to #12 Ohio Northern

ADA, Ohio - The Defiance College Volleyball team could not put up another notch under the win column as the Yellow Jackets fell to #12-ranked Ohio Northern University 30-14, 30-12, 30-19.

DC found itself struggling offensively, managing only 19 kills in the match. For the match, the team as a whole had 25 hitting errors. To the team’s credit, the Yellow Jackets still played solid defensively, as DC managed to dig out 32 balls.

Lauren Aldrige had a team-high six kills, while Ashton Judis was able to hand out 14 assists. Judis and Diane Bruns also had eight digs apiece. Danielle Rego led the team in blocks with four.

Defiance (3-7) hosts Kalamazoo College Thursday evening. The match begins at 6:30 p.m.
