Muskies bite Lady Jackets

WAYNESBURG, Pa.—The Defiance College Volleyball squad fell to Muskingum College in the first round of the Waynesburg College Tournament in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

Losing in three straight, 29-31, 18-30, and 26-30, the Lady Jackets were led in kills by Lauren Aldridge with eight and assists by Brittany Cooley with 29. Corrie Farley had 17 digs, while Julie Steineman added 14 digs and seven kills. Danielle Rego led DC with three blocks.

The Lady Jackets are now 6-5 overall and will face Wittenberg at 7:00 p.m. Friday night in their second game of the tournament.
