DC Volleyball wins at Waynesburg Tournament

Waynesburg, Pa.—The DC Lady Jackets defeated Gallaudet University on Saturday afternoon in their final game of the Waynesburg Tournament.

In the 23-30, 30-25, 30-23, 16-30, 15-12 win Daniell Rego led DC with 13 kills and added for blocks. Julie Steineman had 12 kills, 13 digs and a team-high eight blocks. Brittany Cooley had 47 assists with Corrie Farley adding 25 digs.

The Lady Jackets went 2-2 in the Waynesburg Tournament and are now 8-6 on the year.

DC will next travel to the Mount St. Joseph Tournament on September 23 and 24.
