FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Tracy Sauter led Defiance College with a two-day total of 224 at the University of Saint Francis Cougar Invitational over Monday and Tuesday. The host Cougar team took home the team championship, with Marian’s Angela Gauck winning the individual title.

USF’s team total of 667 edged Marian for the team crown by 11 strokes and Tri-State ended third with a 691. Defiance shaved over 60 strokes off its day-two score, and ended fourth with a team mark of 1081.

Gauck won the individual title over St. Francis’ Lindsey Eaton by six strokes with a 158. A trio of other Cougars rounded at the top five in the individual standings.

Sauter’s 224 paced Defiance and Kelci Wunderlich was right behind with a 235. Shannon O’Dell carded a 304 and Shay Robison ended at 318.
