Lady Jackets Score Road Victory

--Adrian, Mich.--Defiance College women’s soccer team had a big 2-0 win at Adrian College on Tuesday evening.

In the win, Katie Klear, and Emily Armstrong both had first half goals, while the Jackets made their early lead stand with excellent ball control, and solid defense.

The Lady Jackets were able to get off 23 shots while putting constant pressure on the Bulldog defense. Brittany Croy was outstanding in goal, chalking up nine saves in the shutout.

The win brings Defiance’s overall record to 2-1-1. The Lady Jackets next play Urbana at the Anderson Tournament at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
