DC is the ‘Klear’ winner over the Storm

--Painesville, Ohio—The Lady Jacket soccer team won 4-1 at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio on Thursday afternoon.

Katie Klear earned a hat trick with three goals, while Emily Armstrong added the other Jacket score. The Jackets outshot LEC 28-7, while freshman Brittany Croy had five saves in goal, allowing the lone Storm goal on a corner kick in the 76th minute

After taking a 3-0 halftime lead, the Lady Jackets secured the win, leading in corner kicks 5-1. The Storm had eight fouls compared to DC’s six.

Defiance is now 4-2-2 on the year and will next host Rochester on Tuesday, September 28th at 4:00 p.m.
