DC storms over Lake Erie

--Defiance, Ohio—The Lady Jacket soccer team cruised past Lake Erie College at home on Saturday afternoon by a score of 8-1.

Six different Yellow Jackets each had goals, including junior Dierdre Trujillo with three and senior Krista Gray with two.

After taking a 3-0 halftime lead, the Lady Jackets secured the win by adding five more goals in the second half. Angela Bethel had the lone goal for Lake Erie, scoring in the 23rd minute of the second half.

Defiance is now 2-3-1 on the year and will host Heidelberg on Tuesday, September 20th at 4:00 p.m.
