Lady Jackets remain in first-place with tie

--Hanover, Ind.—The DC Lady Jacket soccer squad tied Hanover COllege, 1-1, in double-overtime in Hanover, Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

Katie Klear scored the lone Jacket goal on a Sara Baillie assist, while freshman goalkeeper Sarah Sutter had 17 saves, allowing just one score. DC had 20 shots-on-goal, while Hanover had 21. The Jackets committed 13 fouls, while the Panthers were whistled for 10.

The Lady Jackets remain in first place in the HCAC with the win, moving to 3-1-0 in the conference and 8-3-3 overall on the season.

DC returns home on Tuesday to face Manchester College. The Lady Spartans are another team contending for the conference crown with a 2-1 conference mark and a 10-3-1 mark coming into Saturday.
