Lady Jackets Drop First Game of the Season

--OBERLIN OHIO—The DC Lady Jacket soccer squad lost its first game of the season against Alma College by the score of 1-0.

The game remained scoreless through most of the game, until Alma scored the go ahead goal off of a corner kick with 14 minutes left in the second half.

Goalie Sarah Sutter saved 12 of 13 shots on goal. Offensively, Michelle Kavanagh had three shots on goal and Katie Klear had two shots on goal.

DC looks to even out its season record as the Lady Jackets play Oberlin College tomorrow at 12:15 p.m.
