Lady Jackets Streak By Rochester

--Defiance, Ohio—The Defiance College women’s soccer team toughed out a 4-0 victory over Rochester College in Defiance on Tuesday afternoon.

In a cold rain, the Lady Jackets were able to jump out early, and never looked back. Jessica Hoepner scored on a goal in the first minute to set the tone, and goals from Katie Klear, Jessie Rumer, and Jessica Gamble followed. Sarah Sutter and Brittani Croy split duty in goal to get the shutout.

The game was completely controlled by the Yellow Jackets as Defiance out-shot Rochester 35-5, and had six corner-kicks to none for the Warriors.

The win moves the Jackets record 5-2-2. They next play at Franklin on Saturday at noon.
