DC Women's Soccer drops first HCAC contest of the season

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The offensive struggles for the DC Women's Soccer team continued today as the team was shutout for the second time in three games in a 2-0 road loss to Rose-Hulman.

The Jackets allowed the first goal in hte 15th minute as Julie Roebel scored on a cross. The second goal was given in the 62nd minute, as Sarah Graber put one in the back of the net.

DC was only able to manage two shots on the day, one by Michelle Kavanagh and the other by Jessica Gamble. Stacey Bosserman saved six of the Engineers' eight shots on goal.

The Yellow Jackets (1-4-1, 0-1-0 HCAC) will have little time to dwell on the game, as the team gets right back into action Sunday afternoon, hosting Alma College at 3:00 p.m.
