Lady Jackets Fall to Transy in HCAC Tourney

--Lexington, Ky.—The Defiance College women’s soccer team fell to Transylvania University 0-1, on Wednesday night at Dunbar High School in Lexington, Kentucky.

Sarah Sutter had 15 saves in goal for DC, who end their season with a 8-5-5 record overall and a 3-1-3 record in the HCAC. The Lady Jackets were outshot 3-to-17 and committed two fouls and a yellow card to TU’s two fouls. DC had six corner kicks to Transy’s seven. The Pioneer goal came in the 33rd minute of the first half.

The Lady Jackets ended the regular season in fourth place and qualified for the post-season play for the third consecutive year.
