Meyer Earns All-HCAC Honors

GREENWOOD Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2007 All-Conference Team on Tuesday, October 16. Defiance College's Emily Meyer was named to the all-conference team for the third consecutive year.

Meyer finished the 2007 season with a 12-6 record in No. 1 singles, winning eight of her last ten matches. She finished fourth at this year's HCAC singles tournament in Indianapolis, Ind. Jackets Compete at HCAC Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Defiance College Women’s Tennis team finished its season this weekend at the HCAC Women's Tennis Flighted Tournament.

Emily Meyer wrapped up her tennis career at Defiance College, finishing fourth in the No. 1 singles flight. Meyer ends the year with a 12-6 record in singles action. Amanda Auzins rebounded from an opening match loss to win her next two matches to finish fifth.

The also teamed up to finish fourth in No.1 doubles. They finished the season with an 11-7 record.
