GREENWOOD Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2007 All-Conference Team on Tuesday, October 16. Defiance College's Emily Meyer was named to the all-conference team for the third consecutive year.
Meyer finished the 2007 season with a 12-6 record in No. 1 singles, winning eight of her last ten matches. She finished fourth at this year's HCAC singles tournament in Indianapolis, Ind. The senior left her mark on the DC women's tennis program compiling a 32-16 singles record over her career.
Teaming with fellow Napoleon H.S. alum, Amanda Auzins, Meyer went 30-14 over the last three seasons. This season the two went 11-7, before eventually finishing third at the HCAC tournament.
Defiance finished the season 1-15 overall and 1-7 in the HCAC.
