Steve Oberlin is in the midst of his first season as the head coach of the Defiance men’s and women’s tennis programs. Oberlin is no stranger to the Yellow Jacket program however, as he served as the assistant coach for both squads during the 2006-2007 campaign.
Oberlin has plenty of experience coaching tennis and has been giving tennis lessons for 15 years. He also has experience coaching high school basketball and tennis.
The Stryker High product earned a degree in business management from Northwest State and is currently also employed at the Wauseon Health and Racquet Club.
