Lady Jackets lose in senior's final home match

--DEFIANCE, Ohio—The Defiance College women’s tennis team lost its match against Grace College 7-2 Saturday afternoon.

Emily Meyer and Amanda Auzins improved their #1 doubles record to 8-1 with an 8-2 win against Anna Metz and Sarah Peter. Meyer also won her #1 singles match by the score 7-6 (5), 6-2 and is now 8-4 on the year.

DC senior Traci Dye, who played her final home match of the season, lost her #2 doubles match with Vanessa Vendetta 8-2, .

Defiance's record now stands at 5-8 The Yellow Jackets next play at the HCAC Tournament starting on Friday in Indianapolis.
