Lady Jackets Fall to Heidelberg

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Defiance College Women’s Tennis team fell to Heidelberg 7-2 on Tuesday, October 02. The Lady Jackets fall to 1-15 overall with the loss.

Emily Meyer remained unbeaten her in last five singles matches, blanking her Heidelberg counterpart in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. The senior from Napoleon, Ohio is now 7-1 over her last month of play. In No. 1 doubles action Meyer and Amanda Auzins brought home a 8-2 victory, the 11th victory in their last 13 matches.

The Lady Jackets return to action on Saturday, October 12, when they participate in the HCAC Individual Championships.
