DC Women's Tennis sweeps Indiana Tech

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Women's Tennis team moved to .500 with a convincing 9-0 win over visiting Indiana Tech this afternoon. The team picked up wins from every player on the current roster.

Cindy Toth picked up her first win of the year with a 1-6, 6-4, 6-2 win over Brandi Cassell in #5 singles. Chelsea French also picked up her first collegiate win, defeating Babie Morin 6-1, 6-2 in #6 singles.

Emily Meyer continued her winning ways, beating Ashley Cooper 6-2, 6-2 in #1 singles, then paired up with Amanda Auzins to defeat Cooper again, along with Coralyn Thompson, in a 8-1 victory in #1 doubles.

Defiance (3-3) travels to Indiana this weekend for a conference tri-match against Hanover and Manchester. The team takes on Hanover at 9:00 a.m. and Manchester at noon.
