Meyer Wins Third Straight Match, DC Falls 7-2

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Women’s Tennis dropped a non-conference matchup to Indiana Wesleyan on Tuesday, September 25, 7-2. DC fell to 1-12 on the season with the loss.

Emily Meyer won her fifth singles match in her last six, winning in straight sets 6-2, 7-5. Meyer and doubles teammate Amanda Auzins won 8-5 in No. 1 doubles action, giving them three victories in their last four matches.

The Lady Jackets return to action on Saturday, September 29, when they travel to Lexington, Ky. to face conference foe Transylvania University. The match is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
