DC Women's Tennis Drops Match to St. Francis 8-1
FORT WAYNE, Ind. The Defiance College Women’s Tennis dropped an 8-1 decision to the University of St. Francis on Tuesday, September 4. The loss drops the Lady Jackets record to 0-3 on the season. Senior Emily Meyer (Napoleon/Napoleon) playing at first singles, won easily in two sets 6-0, 6-1 to give the Jackets their lone victory of the day. The doubles pair of Meyer and Amanda Auzins (Napoleon/Napoleon) were narrowly defeated 8-5 in first doubles action.
DC will return to action on Thursday when it hosts Grace College at 4:00 p.m.
