Hench Autism Studies Program to Host Annual Art Show on July 26

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Hench Autism Studies Program at Defiance College will host its fourth annual art show and sale on Thursday, July 26, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. The event will be held in the Women’s Commission Art Gallery on the DC campus.

Participating artists will be selling handmade books, dyed fabrics and napkins, dyed canvas tennis shoes and children's shoes and other items. All items are made by participants in the Hench Summer Program, a summer camp for young adults with autism.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the Hench Autism Studies Program. The show is the culminating event of the Hench Program’s annual summer camp for young adults with autism.

The show is free and open to the public.
