Art Night at DC begins Sept. 18

September 17, 2012

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College’s art department will once again be hosting its popular “Art Night” to be held every Tuesday beginning Sept. 18 and running through the end of the spring semester. Hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Art Center located in the east wing of Dana Hall.

Art Night is open to current and previous DC students, local artists, high school students, and adults and is formatted as a non-teaching environment where artists can interact with other artists and media. All areas of the art center will be open including ceramics. Artists should plan to bring their own current or unfinished projects and supplies, with the exception of clay, which will be provided.

Occasionally, nights will focus on topics such as figure drawing, life drawing, painting, and print making.
