DCCB Cabaret Concert scheduled for March 22

DEFIANCE, Ohio – It will be an evening of music, conversation and desserts as the Defiance College Community Band presents “Come to the Cabaret, My Friends,” on Saturday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m. This sixth annual event will be held in the Weaner Community Center on the DC campus with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. All seats are reserved.

The concert will feature a variety of familiar selections and highlight many members of the DCCB. Appearing with the band will be special guest soloist Kelly McLennan. She is a 1981 Defiance High School graduate and currently a vocalist in Columbus.

“We are excited for this year’s cabaret production,” said Bridget Leahy, DC director of bands. “We have an array of entertaining music including the talents of our own and the wonderful Ms. McLennan, as well as delicious treats provided by campus dining services, Sodexo, to continue this great Defiance tradition.”
