DCCB annual Cabaret concert set for March 21

DEFIANCE, Ohio - Come join the Defiance College Community Band for its seventh annual Cabaret concert on Saturday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. This year’s event will once again be held in the Weaner Center on the Defiance College campus with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. All seats are reserved.

This concert will feature the music of Sinatra, James Bond, “The King and I,” and a wide array of exciting and popular music. Featured soloists will be Dale Schubert on the tuba, and Jacob and Meghan Gobrogge, vocalists. Schubert is originally from Continental and taught as director of bands in the Oakwood, Defiance and Napoleon city schools. Meghan Gobrogge is a graduate of Defiance High School, and Jacob is a graduate of Archbold High School.

“We are very excited for this year’s lineup of soloists and music,” said director of bands Bridget Olenik. “This concert proves to be an excellent way to spend an evening out with friends, desserts, and wonderful music.”
