DC Chamber Singers to hold Church Sing this Sunday

DEFIANCE, Ohio - On Sunday, April 19, the Defiance College Chamber Singers will be visiting a number of Defiance area churches for their annual Spring Church Sing. The 40 singers will attend seven area church services sharing their musical talents with each congregation.

“The church sing is a community outreach opportunity that includes our DC students sharing their musical talents and also experiencing several contrasting worship services in the process,” says Director of Music Programs Andrew Schultz. “It is an event we look forward to every year, and we thank the area churches for allowing us be part of their Sunday morning worship.”

The 2015 Spring Church Sing includes: Evansport United Methodist 8:30 a.m. service, First Church of God 9 a.m. service, Trinity United Methodist 9:30 a.m. service, First Presbyterian 10:15 a.m. service, King’s Cross Church 10:30 a.m. service, St. John United Church of Christ 10:30 a.m. service, and St. Paul’s United Methodist 11 a.m. service.
