Holiday Pops concert by Defiance College Community Band

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The music of the season can be heard from the Defiance College Community Band in their 9th annual Holiday Pops performance. The concert will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Defiance Community Auditorium, downtown Defiance.

This performance will feature many holiday favorites, including “Sleigh Ride,” a holiday medley with a western twist, a Christmas song sing-a-long, and movements from the famous Nutcracker Suite featuring the Defiance Dance Studio. There will be a special guest from the North Pole at the end of the concert who will have gifts for all of the children in attendance.

To include children of all ages, the show will have an earlier curtain time at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. Prelude music will be provided by the DCCB Trombone Choir prior to the beginning of the concert.
