Description
This is an interdisciplinary self-designed major for the student who wants intellectual engagement in more than one subject. This degree is focused on high development of critical thinking, communication, and intellectual or artistic awareness. This is a sometimes a major for those who have interests beyond any single major.

Individuals who are abstract thinkers, who look for patterns in life and society, who are sensitive to the meaning of words and images, or who are interested in thinking processes often find the Arts and Humanities major to be rewarding.

The requirements for a major in Arts & Humanities include:

the Arts & Humanities general education requirements,

plus 4 additional 300 or 400 level Arts or Humanities courses, and AH 498 Liberal Arts Interdisciplinary Seminar (3)

The Arts & Humanities minor requires the Arts & Humanities general education requirements, plus 2 other 300 or 400 level Arts or Humanities courses.
