Behavioral and Applied Social Sciences

The Behavioral and Applied Social Science Division (BASS) consists of the following majors:

One factor that unites these disciplines is an interest in the welfare of individuals and of society. Some of our majors explore the social and psychological forces that promote personal wellbeing and how to assist people who are facing a challenge. Other majors focus on social deviance and the apprehension and institutionalization of people who are a danger to themselves or to society.
