The Office of Communications oversees the areas of publications, advertising, and media relations for all departments of the college. The office produces a variety of publications including admissions and other departmental pieces, the college catalog, and alumni magazine, and is a clearinghouse for all college publications.

Media Relations
The Office of Communications is in charge of media relations, working with approximately 75 media outlets in northwest Ohio, northeast Indiana and southeast Michigan.

Defiance College provides a variety of potential feature stories as well as experts on a wealth of subjects, from issues of the environment, education, criminal justice and business, among many others. The Office of Communications can assist you in talking with these professionals or helping you obtain story information.

Award-Winning Publications
The Defiance College Magazine, sent to all alumni and supporters of the college, has received state and national honors from Ohio Professional Writers and the National Federation of Press Women. The college has also received recognition for three consecutive years in the national Admissions Advertising Awards for publications and television and radio commercials.
