Welcome to the Defiance College Nursing Program. Thank you for visiting this website and your interest in our nursing programs. Defiance College offers two different academic paths or courses of study; both which lead to a BSN: a 1+2+1 program in conjunction with Northwest State Community College and an RN-BSN Completion Program. The Defiance College RN to BSN Completion degree provides Registered Nurses with the opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Now is a great time to be a nurse! The career outlook for nursing professionals is bright because of our aging population. If you select nursing as a professional career, there are many opportunities: hospitals, physician offices, clinics and home health just to name a few.
This website is designed to provide up-to-date information for students, faculty, and staff about our two tracks in nursing. Learn about the 1+2+1 program and the RN-BSN Completion Program and their plans of study(1+2+1, RN-BSN) and admission requirements(1+2+1, RN-BSN).
