Volunteer for Career Related event/experiences

• Mock interviews- Volunteer to assist students with their presentation skills by conducting mock interviews.
  
  
• Networking receptions- These events are designed to provide students with an opportunity to make connections and practice their networking skills with alums, local business professionals, and campus administrators.  Come mingle with our students as they prepare themselves for life after DC!
  
  
• Career Shadowing- First and Second year students benefit greatly from having opportunities to examine potential careers in person.  Career shadowing experiences typically occur during the winter or Spring break periods and may last anywhere from one hour to one week. 
  
  
• Sponsor an internship or co-op-   Internships and co-ops are a great way for students to get practical experience in their major and make themselves more marketable upon graduation.    We encourage you to consider creating a co-op or internship experience for DC students at your company or organization.   This is a great way for you to stay connected to Defiance College while also building a talent pool for your organization.
