CLEP: (Testing to get college credit)

CLEP Credit Translations

Begining July 1, 2008 the CLEP fee will increase to $70

Testing information for the CLEP at Defiance College:

• $25 cash or check made payable to Defiance College is a NON-REFUNDABLE TEST FEE - unless Career Development is notified 5 days before test date.
• $70 credit card, check or money order made payable to CLEP
• Must register and pay $70 fee 2 days in advance -- registration form
• 90-minute test
• Study guides available
• Test results immediately, except English Comp with Essay
• Must wait 6 months to retake the same test
• $60 per credit hour will be charged to have credit applied to your transcript
  (no additional charge for incoming Freshman for tests taken before school begins)

• $70 must pay by credit card only. NOT DISCOVER!
• Must register and pay $70 fee 2 days in advance -- registration form

• Must wait 6 months to retake the same test

• This test is only valid for admission purposes at Defiance College. The score cannot be sent to another institution
  
• To register you must be referred by the Defiance College Office of Admissions.
  
• Cost is $35 certified check made payable to Defiance College
  
• You must bring a valid photo ID, such as a driver's license.
