The mission of the Defiance College Health Center is two-fold: 1) To provide quality medical care to allow students to perform optimally, physically and mentally, to achieve their academic and intellectual potential; 2) To provide strong, effective health education programs to help students, faculty and staff develop healthy lifestyles to enhance their intellectual growth and development as they become responsible members of society.
Location and Hours
The Defiance College Health Center is located at 701 North Clinton St., on the 2nd floor of the Serrick Center
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you need help in the evening or on the weekends, see your RA. If you miss class, you need to call your professor and then come to the Health Center. All information is kept confidential unless with written permission from the student.

Can I get a physical at Defiance College?
Yes, by scheduling an appointment in the health center to see the physician.
If I have health questions, who can I contact?
Call, e-mail, or stop in the health center any time.
What do, I do if the Health Center is closed?
Go to your RA or RD and they will be able to direct you where to go for health care.

Physician or Counseling Services
Dr .Gary E. Okuley from the Defiance Clinic comes to campus every Friday morning by appointment to see students. A counselor comes to campus every Monday to see students by appointment
