Staff Info
The Office of Residence Life has a strong commitment to creating an environment in the residence halls that will assist students in their growth and development. Effort is made to create an environment that encourages academic excellence, social competence, independence and a sense of community living. A well-trained staff including a Graduate Hall Director, an Assistant Residence Director and Resident Assistants will provide programming, guidance and support to the residence hall community. When these activities are combined with the active participation of the residents, the halls become more than just places to sleep; they become living and learning environments.
The following is a list of people and groups who are available to assist students within the residence halls. Residents are encouraged to be actively involved in their residence hall and to get to know these individuals.

SECURITY
McReynolds Hall, Whitney Hall and the Jacket Suites remain locked 24 hours a day and 7days a week. Students will need to use their student ID to gain access to their individual residence halls. Professional security officers supplied by Securitas Security also complete campus rounds and remain at the front desks from 6pm until 6am daily. Each resident is provided an access card or key to enter their residence hall. It is important to note that security and safety of our students is compromised when visitors to the hall are given access without the appropriate supervision of a resident of that residence hall. Therefore, do not lend out your access card or key and report lost or stolen access cards or keys immediately. Follow this link for important information on protecting yourself while at college.
