Stacey Bosserman
Hi, I'm Stacey Bosserman and I am a freshman majoring in Social Work. I am originally from Goshen Ohio, which is outside of Cincinnati. I am the youngest of three siblings. My sister Jessica also attends Defiance. I was a member of the Women’s Soccer team. I am really happy to help you began your new journey.

Melanie Bushman
Hey. My name is Melanie Bushman and I graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in Harrison, near Cincinnati, OH in 2005. I played volleyball and softball throughout high school and during my senior year my softball team was runner up in the Division I State Tournament. I am a sophomore Sport Management Major at Defiance and I play first base for the softball team. I am also the treasurer of SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee). In the summer I coach a 12U travel softball team and work for the Tax and Trade Bureau, which is a division of the Dept. of Treasury.

Kristy Davenport
Hello. I’m Kristy Davenport and I am a sophomore (as of Fall 2007) Forensic Science Major from Austintown, Ohio. I participate in the Carolyn M. Small Honors Program and Criminal Justice Society, as well being a student worker in the McMaster Office. The close-knit atmosphere and helpful attitude of the faculty along with the Forensic Science Program drew me to Defiance College. I hope to acquire a job in a State Forensic Lab after I graduate.

Adam Hart
Hi! My name is Adam Hart and I'm from Toledo, Ohio. I am a Middle Childhood Education major and a senior. I am involved in many things on campus. I am currently president of our lone fraternity; Phi Sigma Chi and am a member of the campus theater group, DC Players. I also played football and many intramural sports. I love to be active and have fun. I am a co-leader of the Orientation Leader staff and this is my third consecutive year as an Orientation Leader. I am pleased with the OL staff we have. They are a great group; enthusiastic and outgoing, two characteristics an OL needs.

Around campus I am involved as a Citizen Leader, Orientation Leader, Member of the Tunnel of Oppression group, and a regular member of Campus Crusades for Christ and Bible Study. I am involved in Community Service; such as volunteering at the Independence Education Center and America Reads. I will be the manager of the Defiance College Women's Basketball Team in the upcoming 2007-2008 season. I played Volleyball for DC during the 2006 season and am a new member of the Women's Golf Team. I am very excited to be a student at Defiance College and invite everyone to experience the opportunities!

Sam Stegeman
Hi! My name is Sam Stegeman and I am a junior from Medina, Ohio. I am majoring in Forensic Science with a minor in Criminal Justice. In addition to being involved with Habitat for Humanity and Catholics on Campus, I am an Orientation Leader, Laboratory Assistant, and Part-time Office Assistant. From experience, I know how many of you feel about making the transition from high school to college, and hopefully, with my help, and the help of the Orientation Leaders, the transition will be made smoothly. I look forward to meeting you at orientation and throughout the school year!

Nikki Stratton
I am originally from Inkster, Michigan, which is close to Detroit. I am about to start my senior year at Defiance. I am a Criminal Justice and Psychology double major. I am involved in several different activities on campus including Campus Activities Board and Sigma Sigma Sigma. I have been a member of the Campus Activities Board and served as Membership Chairman, Vice-President, and Family Weekend Committee Chairman. The last 2 years I have been an active member of the Phi Sigma Chi Fraternity and Inter-Greek Council. I served as the Secretary of both groups and next year will be the treasurer of the Fraternity. This past year I became a Resident Assistant, which I will continue next year as well. Other groups and activities I have been a part of at DC include selection committees, intramural sports, and Student Senate. This is my second year as an Orientation Leader. I am also a co-leader of the Orientation Staff. After graduation I hope to continue on in Graduate School and become a Physician Assistant. The thing I love and will remember the most about DC are my great friends.
