Responsibilities: Design admission publications; coordinate the direct mail program, which includes mailing information to students, high schools, churches, and community colleges; supervise administrative assistant and admission student workers; POISE training; compile annual admission statistics and weekly status report; assist in leading the admissions team; Co-Chairperson of the Northwest Ohio Student Leadership Conference

I have been a part of the Defiance College staff since 1985 and the best part about working in admissions is getting to know the students and watching them grow as individuals. I supervise the student workers in the admissions office. Throughout their four years of working in the office, my goal is to help them be well-rounded students that exceed in the work place after graduation. At DC, I believe there is a genuine interest in seeing our students succeed. We provide them with top-notch facilities that are inviting and very attractive. The relationship between faculty/staff and students has always been a positive feature of DC.
