“While I have only begun to immerse myself into the core marketing classes at Defiance College, I am already beginning to view commercials and advertising media from a different perspective. The professors’ lectures, class discussions, research papers, and assigned presentations have really molded my analytical skills and developed my communication skills, among other aptitudes. I am confident I will be successful because of these skills I continue to acquire and practice in the classroom.”

“My experience at Defiance College has been very rewarding. The flexibility of the classes has allowed me to attend Defiance College while working a full-time job as a co-manager at Bath & Body Works. Family is very important to me, and balancing family, work, and college has been a challenge. However, Defiance College has made this possible. The professors are extremely helpful and always willing to accommodate me in any way they can. I find it very beneficial that I can talk with the professors, and they know my name, and are more than willing to accommodate me if I have family functions or work-related meetings to attend. The Business and Marketing Major has really encouraged me to think, not only locally, but globally. Everyone at the college is very personable, and I have met a lot of new friends. The CAP office – Sally, Cathy, and Michelle are so nice and helpful. I am very excited to see what opportunities lay ahead of me after graduation.”
