Join Us for Lunch
CAP Munchin' Luncheon is our monthly lunch get together. It's a time to relax between, before, or after classes and just chat and laugh. You can brown bag it, pick up something at a fast food place, or buy your lunch in the cafeteria, then join us in the dining hall in the Serrick Center. We stake our claim to a couple of tables from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm so join us as your schedule allows.

Computer Proficiency Testing
All DC students are to show proficiency in document production, spreadsheets, and presentation skills (Word, Excel, and Power Point) by the end of their third semester of attendance. You may demonstrate this proficiency by taking the one-credit class offered for each application or you may take the in-house proficiency test for one, two, or all three of the areas. Each test can only be taken once. The tentative dates for the spring semester computer proficiency testing are as follow:

• Wednesday, January 18th 3:00-6:00pm
• Friday, January 20th 2:00-5:00pm
• Wednesday, February 22nd 3:00-6:00pm
• Friday, February 25th 2:00-5:00pm

Spring & Summer CLEP and Dantes Testing
Test dates for CLEP or Dantes are as follow:

• January 11th, 4:00 pm
• February 8th, 4:00 pm
• March 14th, 4:00 pm
• April 11th, 4:00 pm
• May 9th, 4:00 pm
• June 13th, 4:00 pm
• July 11th, 4:00 pm
• August 8th, 4:00 pm

Get Registered!
Remember that you aren't coded as "registered" until all of your paperwork is completed. You MUST submit a signed billing statement even if your financial aid covers all costs or if you are using the deferred payment option. The sooner you complete your paperwork, the sooner you are coded as "registered." Your financial aid cannot come in to the school and no refund check can be issued until you are "registered."



Registered Current Students
All students who are coded as "registered" for the current semester should have a validation sticker for their student I.D. card. If you have not yet received one, please stop in the CAP Office in Defiance Hall, Suite 104.

CAP Office Hours
During the fall and spring semesters, the CAP office observes the following schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8:00am until 7:30pm
Wednesday - 8:00am - 6:30pm
Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm
Fridays of Weekend College - Open until 9:30pm
Saturdays of Weekend College - 7:00am until 4:30pm

During the summer term (May - August), the CAP Office is open from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Monday through Friday. Some Fridays we are open until 9:30pm. Evening appointments will be scheduled when requested. Just call the office to schedule a time to meet with Sally or Cathy.
